My Process

Everything begins with a collage created out of hundreds of snippets from magazines and gathered bits of textures found throughout the day.

The collages are then translated from two dimensions into three dimensional clay objects made by hand that allow clay, glaze and materiality to exist in harmony. Inspired by the imbued action and emotion that the combination of clay and image create, the piece becomes exactly what it was meant to be.

The process by nature is unpredictable. This is embraced within each unusual piece.
